Biography

I'm a current junior at the Pennsylvania State University. As a Broadcast Journalism, I hold an interest in sports. My minor is communication arts and sciences. I am originally from New Hampshire.

I am a third year Penn State Majorette, I perform at every home football game for the Nittany Lions. As a majorette, I am a member of the Penn State Blue Band. Peforming for our football team is what got me interested in sports journalism. I have been twirling baton since I was eight years-old. It is my passion.

I am a Miss America local contestant and am currently the reining Miss Greater Juniata Valley through the Miss Pennsylvania Scholarship Organization. I have been involved for 5 years and have rasied thousands of dollars in scholarship. I also volunteer in my community with both mentoring and through the Children's Miracle Network.

I am a busy full-time student, but I love to be busy. I have learned to time manage very well and it has paid off. I look forward to continuing my education and hopefully someday becoming a field reporter.
